The use of Ashtadhatu (mix of 8 metals) and copper for medicinal purposes is found throughout recorded history. Ashtadhatu bands are polished in silver and gold to enhance its appearance. The copper band remains in original form. For more than 30 years copper bracelets have been popular. There have been claims that the wearing of copper alloy bracelets alleviates the symptoms of arthritis, rheumatism, tendonitis, and carpal tunnel syndrome.
Cleaning instructions: Bracelet may discolor with use. Immerse in a mixture of white vinegar and table salt to shine like new. Rinse with water and dry immediately. Discoloration on the arm can be avoided by applying clear fingernail polish to the area that touches the skin.
